OGAE votes 2012: current standing 4.25.2012

The 41 clubs of the OGAE (Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l’Eurovision) have begun polling their members’ votes for the 2012 entries, and the results are slowly coming in. So far 9 of the 41 have submitted their points, in the traditional Eurovision format of 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points to the club’s top choices. From the first quarter of the clubs, some strong trends are definitely emerging of who the fan favorites of 2012 will be.

Loreen of Sweden and her strong dance ballad “Euphoria” are almost crushing the competition. Sweden has racked up 101 of a possible 108 points already, and is far ahead of other favorites Iceland, Serbia, Norway and Cyprus.
